Birketts recruits private client specialists in Norwich

Margaret Smith and Sarah Wood have joined Birketts' private client team in Norwich.

Margaret, a senior associate, says: “The private client team at Birketts is ranked in the first tier by the Legal 500 directory. I’m extremely pleased to be joining such a well-respected team, acting for a wide range of clients from significant family trusts and landed estates to private individuals.”

Sarah, a solicitor, says: Birketts has been in Norwich for 10 years but has a long history, having recently celebrated its 150th anniversary. The firm has built a fantastic reputation for retaining first class lawyers, providing great client service and responding to the needs of its clients. I’m delighted to have joined and to have the opportunity to be part of this successful team."

Lorna Spear, senior associate, adds: “I’m thrilled that we have been able to recruit such talented solicitors in order to meet our clients’ needs. These appointments demonstrate our continuing commitment to providing an excellent, all-round service, bringing particular expertise in wills, trusts, tax planning and advice together with the administration of complex estates. Margaret’s wealth of experience advising on succession planning for farming and other family businesses is of particular importance.”
