Mayo Wynne Baxter—Angela Arnold

Mayo Wynne Baxter strengthens property team with new partner appointment
Leading South East law firm Mayo Wynne Baxter has appointed Angela Arnold as a partner in its property team.

Bringing more than 10 years’ experience in residential property, Angela is former head of residential property at Rix & Kay Solicitors in Hove. Following the firm’s acquisition by Knights in August 2025, she became a partner in its Brighton office.

Angela has an established profile across Sussex, with significant experience advising clients on residential property matters and leading specialist teams. She also serves as the president of the Sussex Law Society and is a board member at the Sussex County Cricket Club.

Based in Brighton, Angela will work alongside the firm’s established property team, building on its residential property practice and helping strengthen its presence in the region.

She will also work closely with colleagues across the private client and family teams, bringing together the firm’s expertise to support clients where property matters sit alongside wider legal needs.

Angela said: “What drew me to Mayo Wynne Baxter was that rare balance of deep Sussex heritage and real ambition – a firm that honours its history without being content to rest on it.

“I’m looking forward to building on the strength of the residential property team in Brighton and increasing its visibility in the region. This role presents a great opportunity to bring together my experience and local relationships with the breadth of expertise across the firm.

“The most rewarding part of this role is helping clients navigate complex and significant decisions in their lives with ease. I enjoy finding practical ways through those complexities while making the experience as seamless as possible for our clients.”

Sacha Bolourchi, partner and head of property at Mayo Wynne Baxter, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Angela to Mayo Wynne Baxter. She brings a depth of residential property experience and an excellent understanding of the Sussex market to our team.

“Her reputation and longstanding relationships across the region will be a real asset as we continue to build our team in Brighton. We’re looking forward to working with Angela as she builds on the strength of our existing practice and contributes to its continued growth.”
