The Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) is expanding. It has announced a substantial new intake of 17 mediators across several jurisdictions to join its current cohort of 150 mediators. They cover a broad range of specialisms from financial services to aviation and intellectual property. Research by CEDR in conjunction with the Civil Mediation Council in 2014 found demand for commercial mediators had grown nine per cent in the UK since the previous year.
