Mental Health First Aid

An increasing number of firms and chambers have introduced Mental Health First Aid training in the workplace. The First Aiders are part of a wider drive to increase awareness of mental health and promote wellbeing in the legal profession, where heavy workloads and constant pressure can take their toll.

Mental Health First Aid England (MHFAE) is offering law firms and chambers a toolkit of ideas, resources and videos to help them promote wellbeing, including a graphic on the legal sector. Visit their website at https://mhfaengland.org for tips for firms on taking a whole organisation approach to mental health.
