Partner arrival boosts law firm’s growing real estate team

Midlands law firm mfg Solicitors has bolstered its Real Estate team with the appointment of a new partner.

The firm has appointed Sarah Bradford who will lead its Real Estate offering in the Black Country from the firm’s offices in Brierley Hill, working closely with partners Ben Rothery, Employment partner Tim Lang and Corporate partner Philip Chapman, in providing legal expertise to the local business community.

With more than 22 years’ experience acting for businesses, pension funds, and lenders on a wide range of complex commercial property transactions, Black Country-born Sarah joins mfg Solicitors from Higgs LLP.

Ben Rothery, partner and head of the Real Estate department at mfg Solicitors said: “Our Real Estate team is one of the fastest growing in the region and Sarah’s appointment further strengthens our offering.

“She has a first-class reputation across the Midlands, but particularly in the Black Country where she has successfully led and negotiated hundreds of commercial property deals for over two decades. She will head up the team from our growing Brierley Hill office as we look to expand our client base in the area.

“Sarah is already making a significant impact, both internally and with our clients, and I look forward to working closely with her in the months and years ahead.”

Sarah Bradford added: “You cannot fail to notice mfg’s regional presence, reputation and forward-thinking approach, alongside the investment they make in their specialist teams. Those were key reasons which influenced my decision to join.

“It is a fantastic opportunity to lead the Real Estate team in the Black Country, whilst also working closely with colleagues across the firm’s offices in Worcestershire, Shropshire and Birmingham. I've joined at a hugely exciting time for mfg and I'm looking forward to contributing to its continued success and helping to further enhance our reputation."

Alongside her legal work, Sarah is also an Enterprise Advisor to King Edward VI College in Stourbridge, where she works with the careers team to help support the future career paths of its 2,300+ students.
