New Look LPC

News In Brief

A new look Legal Practice Course (LPC) will be available from September 2009 (and mandatory from September 2011), the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) has announced. It aims to offer greater flexibility to students and law firms alike. LPC students will be able to undertake vocational electives during or after some work experience in the training contract or work-based learning and pursue practice-specific electives. Providers will have more freedom to design LPC content for particular students and areas of legal practice.
