Geoffrey Bindman, of Bindman and Partners and NLJ columnist, has received a knighthood in this month’s New Year Honours List for his services to human rights. Ken Macdonald QC, Director of Public Prosecutions and head of the Crown Prosecution Service, has also been knighted while DJ Michael Walker, honorary secretary of the Association of District Judges, has been awarded a CBE.
