Firm recruits to expand its inheritance protection team

Gardner Leader has appointed Berkshire-born solicitor, Niamh Minihane, as part of its continuous growth plan for the business.

Niamh has 12 years' experience in inheritance protection law and will join the team in Maidenhead as an associate. Her new role will also be to further develop community relations and local business development to support the firm as it seeks to strengthen its presence in Maidenhead since acquiring Health Buckeridge on 23 Queen Street, in September 2014.

Niamh says: "It's great to be living and working in an area that I know and love. The move means a much better-work life balance for me and my family and Gardner Leader couldn't be a better firm to work for. I already feel at home here. The team is so supportive, friendly and approachable.

"I'm very excited about my new position too. Inheritance protection is a great area of law, which is why I specialised in it, as it's a chance to help people in difficult times. Plus, I'm really looking forward to getting the business development side underway and using my skills and expertise in this area to help grow the Maidenhead branch."

Derek Rodgers, managing partner at Gardner Leader, adds: "It's great to have Niamh on board. She fits in perfectly as she's experienced in her specialist area of law, enthusiastic and client focussed, which are qualities that we value at Gardner Leader. Niamh's appointment is also part of our continuous commitment to develop our services in Maidenhead as client demand grows, and to boost the brand locally since the transition from Health Buckeridge to Gardner Leader."
