NLJ this week: Guideline Hourly Rates

56839
The Master of the Rolls, Sir Geoffrey Vos, has confirmed acceptance of the final report on Guideline Hourly Rates (GHR), which are used to help determine costs

The preceding interim report attracted 103 responses from a mix of solicitors, insurers, NHS, representative bodies, Law Society and judges.

In the first of a two-part series, Julian Chamberlayne, partner at Stewarts, looks at the key themes that emerged from those who responded to the Civil Justice Council working group’s interim report on GHR, and how these themes may play out two years down the line when the next review takes place.
