No5 Barristers’ Chambers—Ian Tullett, Daniel Griffiths & Marc Forrest-Thomas

Set introduces C-suite leadership team to support continued growth

No5 Barristers’ Chambers has unveiled a new senior management structure with the appointment of Ian Tullett as chief operating officer (pictured), Daniel Griffiths as chief clerk and Marc Forrest-Thomas as chief commercial officer. The move forms part of a wider evolution of the set’s leadership as it continues to expand operations and strengthen client service across its offices in London, Birmingham and Bristol.

Griffiths, who has been with No5 for almost 18 years, will lead the clerking and practice management functions across all offices. Forrest-Thomas, who joined the set a decade ago, takes responsibility for commercial strategy, brand development and engagement across the legal and professional sectors. Tullett, who returned as finance director in 2020, will oversee day-to-day operations and the implementation of the chambers’ long-term strategy.

Joint heads of chambers Michelle Heeley KC and Peter Goatley KC said the new structure reflects the 'scale, ambition and continued development' of No5. They described Tullett, Griffiths and Forrest-Thomas as 'leading marketplace professionals' who will play an important role in supporting the chambers' growth and maintaining 'the highest standards of service'.

Tullett said the new management structure reflects both 'the scale of chambers today and our ambitions for the future'. He added that bringing together expertise across operations, clerking and commercial development would 'support continued growth while maintaining the high standards of service and support for which No5 is recognised'.
