Orwins has appointed Maryam Abbasi as a senior associate in its family law team in London. She joined the firm on 8 June from Blaser Mills Law and brings experience in complex divorce matters, including international financial remedy cases, domestic abuse, non-disclosure issues and cases involving complex healthcare needs.
A member of Resolution, Abbasi is known for her constructive and empathetic approach to dispute resolution, with a focus on achieving sustainable outcomes for families while minimising conflict.
Abbasi said: ‘I am thrilled to be joining Orwins.’ She added that the firm is ‘building a clear and compelling offering for individuals and families’ and that she is ‘looking forward to working with the team, developing my career, and helping to drive the next phase of the firm’s success’.
