Group announces board changes
Parabis, the multi-disciplinary legal services group, has announced the appointment of Jason Powell as group chief executive.
Together with group commercial director, Tim Roberts, Jason, as chief operating officer, has steered the business through a period of significant restructuring and rationalisation, to develop client-facing centres of legal excellence across the UK.
Parabis Group chairman, Paul Lester, says: “Over the last two years, we’ve focused on transforming our business into a multi-disciplinary, modern law firm, improving our organisation, control and governance.
“Jason has been instrumental in helping to reshape the business for future prosperity and growth and is a natural leader. He will continue to work hand-in-hand with Tim Roberts on the acquisition of new clients and partnerships.”
As part of the Board-level developments, deputy chairman and non-executive director, Tim Oliver, takes on a new role as chairman of the board of Parabis Law LLP, the regulated law firm at the heart of the group. He will mentor and support Damon Burt, managing partner (litigation) and Hilary Yeo, managing director (claims handling), in their LLP roles. He retains his group–level board position.
