He received the award at the National Paralegal Awards virtual ceremony in September in recognition of his work on access to justice and promotion of diversity within the legal profession.
In his career, Sir Robin has helped to bring about the Rolls Building, one of the largest business dispute centre in the world, as well as working on reforming the Queen’s Counsel system and being involved in rewriting the Commercial Court Guide as part of the Woolf reforms.
‘Paralegals comprise of one of the second largest sectors of the legal profession and paralegals providing legal services have a collective effort to improve access to justice,’ Sir Robin said.
