Penningtons Manches Cooper—Kamran Rehman

Penningtons Manches Cooper strengthens commercial disputes team with new partner

Top 50 law firm Penningtons Manches Cooper has appointed Kamran Rehman, a litigator specialising in the banking, finance and real estate sectors, as a partner in its thriving commercial dispute resolution practice.

Previously a partner at Shakespeare Martineau, where he was head of the London dispute resolution team as well as the head of the London office, Kamran has extensive experience in commercial and banking disputes and professional negligence actions.

Kamran will work closely with a number of other specialist partners including banking and finance partners Mark Phillips and John Chater, as well as real estate partners James Nadin and James McNeilly, bringing additional capacity and a strong suite of skills to an increasingly busy part of the business.

Partner Rustam Dubash, head of commercial dispute resolution, commented: “We’re delighted that Kamran has joined us. He is an extremely impressive lawyer and a great fit for our team. He will play a very important role as we continue to pursue our ambitious plans for growth and respond to new opportunities and rising client demand. We all look forward to working with him.”
