Associate recruited to commercial property team

Nottingham's Nelsons Solicitors has recruited a new associate to its commercial property team in response to an increasingly active market in the city and as part of a continued expansion across the firm.

Peter Jackson joins Nelsons from Larken and Co as a solicitor and associate with a wealth of commercial property experience. He has worked at firms in the East Midlands including Geldards and Shakespeares, as well as Burges Salmon in Bristol. Peter’s areas of expertise include acting for commercial property investors, for banks who lend to these investors and for businesses who occupy industrial units.

Peter says: “I’m extremely pleased to have been appointed at Nelsons. The firm has a brilliant reputation across the East Midlands with its three city centre offices in Nottingham, Leicester and Derby and is renowned for offering very high quality services.

“The commercial property market in Nottingham is very buoyant at the moment and I would say we are seeing the most amount of activity in the city in several years.

“I am from Nottingham and have seen the market change over the years and I’ve kept a close eye on the developments. In my new role at Nelsons I will utilise my knowledge of the local market to ensure that I offer the best possible service.”

Nelsons' Nottingham commercial property partner, Riaz Dudhia, says: “Peter is a very valuable addition to our team. We are thrilled that he has decided to bring his expert knowledge and experience to Nelsons.”
