Probate litigation specialist heads legacy dispute team

Stone King LLP has appointed leading probate litigation specialist Peter Steer to head the law firm's growing legacy dispute team.

Peter specialises in probate disputes and other contentious work for charitable organisations and joins Stone King as a partner from the legal practice Wilsons. Prior to this Peter, who has particular expertise advising on will disputes and inheritance act claims, was head of the probate litigation team at Henmans in Oxford.

Stone King's managing partner Steven Greenwood says: "We are delighted to welcome Peter who is well respected in the industry for his legacy litigation expertise. We have established a national reputation for the range of specialist legal services we offer to charities and Peter's arrival will further strengthen our position as a market leader."

Peter comments: "Stone King are widely recognised as first-class charity lawyers so I'm naturally excited to be joining such a dynamic team. I look forward to working closely with Stone King's many clients and helping them to make the most of their legacy incomes."
