New IP lawyer for Leeds office
Bond Dickinson has appointed lawyer Rose Smalley into the Leeds office to join the intellectual property team where her work will involve advising on contentious intellectual property matters, including claims issued in the High Court and Intellectual Property Enterprise Court. A graduate of the University of Oxford, Rose joins Bond Dickinson from Walker Morris, where Rose completed her solicitor training. During her time there, she was a member of their intellectual property team where her role included advising in relation to claims involving trade mark, design, patent and copyright infringement and passing off, as well as contributing to know-how and developing a departmental precedent bank.
Rose will also support the team in advising on the full range of intellectual property rights including protection and enforcement, as well as negotiating documents and advising on commercial transactions concerning intellectual property.
Patrick Cantrill, IP partner at Bond Dickinson, says: "We are delighted to have recruited a candidate of Rose's calibre into the IP team. We are continuing to expand and strengthen the IP services we offer across the sectors in which Bond Dickinson operates. Rose will make a valuable addition to the firm’s existing and future clients."
