Royal wills made public

The wills of nine royals have been made publicly accessible

The move is in response to the September 2021 judgment of Sir Andrew McFarlane, president of the Family Division, in Re: The Will of His Late Royal Highness the Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh [2021] EWHC 77 (Fam).

The wills now available to view include those of the late Queen Mother’s brother, Price Francis of Teck, who died in 1910, and Louise, Princess Royal, who died in 1931.
