Firm grows private client team with lateral partner hire

Russell-Cooke has welcomed Angharad Lynn as a private client partner.

Angharad has deep expertise in cross-border estate planning and administration, including drafting Wills, trusts, Inheritance Tax planning and lasting power of attorney (LPAs). She specialises in supporting globally mobile clients with assets in multiple jurisdictions on estate planning, working with advisers in other countries to ensure they can pass on their assets as they wish. Angharad advises many UK families who own holiday homes overseas, helping them navigate both the legal and tax implications.

Angharad speaks French and Welsh fluently and also has a good knowledge of Italian. She is particularly experienced at dealing with Anglo-French estates. Angharad has over a decade of experience having qualified in 2012. She joins the firm from VWV where she was the head of the London private client team. Angharad is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Angharad's appointment brings the number of private client partners based in London to eight.

Andrew Godfrey, a partner in the private client team, says: 'Angharad’s arrival brings further strength in depth to our team. Her impressive experience in cross-border estate planning is hugely valuable, and further enhances our growing international offering to clients whose financial and personal affairs span multiple jurisdictions. We are thrilled to welcome Angharad to the team and look forward to working with her.'

Commenting on her appointment, Angharad adds, 'I am excited to be joining Russell-Cooke’s highly regarded private client team at a pivotal point in their growth. I am greatly looking forward to working with the team to provide the full suite of private wealth services to clients, including on the increasing number of international matters they handle.'

Angharad’s arrival brings the total number of partners at Russell-Cooke to 65.
