Ryan Marsh—Oxley & Coward Solicitors LLP

New solicitor joins family department

Oxley & Coward Solicitors LLP in Rotherham has announced the appointment of a new solicitor. Ryan Marsh has joined the firm’s growing family department.

“I am delighted to be joining a long established firm like Oxley & Coward,” says Ryan. “Family Law has always been my speciality and Oxley and Coward’s expertise in this area of law made them the ideal firm to join. With several years’ experience in all aspects of family law, my goal is to become a specialist advocate in care proceedings and Oxley & Coward is the ideal environment in which to make this a reality.”

On qualifying in 2004, Ryan gained over 10 years valuable experience as a solicitor (including seven years in private practice at local law firms and three years as a senior legal officer at Doncaster Council). Ryan has continued to work in all areas of family law, while specialising in cases involving advocacy in care proceedings. It was this specialism, which led him to join the family department at Oxley & Coward.

“The family department has had a very busy few years so Ryan’s appointment is a real asset to us and it’s been a pleasure to welcome him on board,” says family department head and partner Sarah Scott.

“Since he joined us Ryan’s experience of care proceedings has already proved its worth. Family law is such an emotive area that professionalism and experience are important. All our clients need to have confidence that we have the very best solicitors to look after them and Ryan’s appointment is further evidence of that.”
