SME firms in London & south east recovering well
Small and medium sized law firms in London and the south east are recovering well from the recession, according to accountants HW Fisher & Co’s third annual poll. It found 4.5% growth overall, with the best performers recording a 17% rise in profits. More than a third are looking for outside investment, and 43% plan to bring in non-lawyer partners. However, more than a third predict they will lose business next year due to the Legal Services Act.
