Group appoints new associate director in the Isle of Man

Trust, fund and corporate services provider, First Names Group, has announced the appointment of Selu Mdlalose as associate director. Selu will be based in the group’s Isle of Man office.

An experienced financial services professional with over 14 years under his belt, Selu has worked in senior financial management and client relationship roles at Deloitte, international captive insurance company Willis Management, and Bradford & Bingley International Ltd (now part of Santander Bank plc). Prior to joining First Names Group he was managing director of Senate Limited, an Isle of Man based corporate and trust services provider. He is also a member of the Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW), having trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC

Selu will work closely with client service directors Mark Lewin and Craig Brown to help build on and further develop the Group’s client base in Africa, in particular East and West Africa.

Selu comments: “First Names Group is very well-known and respected in the Isle of Man so I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to become part of it. I look forward to contributing to the continued growth of the business while upholding its reputation for exceptional, people-focused client service.”
