Shakespeare Martineau boosts Sheffield corporate team with new appointment

National law firm Shakespeare Martineau has strengthened its corporate team with the appointment of associate Molly Rae in Sheffield.

Her experience spans a broad range of corporate finance matters, including share and asset acquisitions and disposals, management buyouts, employee ownership trusts, solvent restructurings and general company law matters.

Molly joins from Knights, where she completed her training contract and qualified as a corporate solicitor in 2022. She has worked on a range of domestic and cross-border transactions, with particular expertise in the manufacturing and healthcare sectors.

Her experience will support businesses in Sheffield and the wider South Yorkshire region as they navigate decisions around growth, investment and ownership.

Molly said: “I was attracted to Shakespeare Martineau because of the quality and variety of corporate work being undertaken by the team, and the opportunity to work with a broad range of businesses across the region.

“I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to the role while continuing to develop my career. It’s an exciting time to join, with the Sheffield office growing both within corporate and across its wider specialisms, and I’m looking forward to contributing to that growth.”
