The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) has proposed a “shorter, sharper, clearer” handbook to remove unnecessary bureaucracy and free up solicitors to work in new markets. It wants to open up opportunities for solicitors to deliver services outside of regulated firms. The proposals are part of the SRA’s Looking to the Future consultation. The consultation will run for 16 weeks until 21 September 2016.
