Industrial disease solicitor is promoted to head of department
Stephanie Matthews, a solicitor within the industrial disease department at Asons Solicitors, has been promoted to the position of head of industrial disease pre-litigation at the Greater Manchester law firm. Stephanie was previously promoted to team manager after only three months with the firm, having earned her training contract at the six months mark and is now elevated to head of department after only two year’s service.
Stephanie holds the firm’s record for the most settled cases in one month in a business that includes over 300 staff. She has won damages for more than 50 noise-induced hearing loss cases victims and has also tackled cases involving asbestos exposure and work-related leukaemia.
Asons' principal, Kamran Akram says: “Stephanie is consistently successful and in a very short space of time has proven that she has what it takes to succeed in industrial disease. She has a great work ethic and continues to gain great feedback from her clients. As the head of a department, you need to lead by example, and I can’t think of a better example for our fee earners to follow. I’m proud to have her with us.”
