Law firm Switalskis has confirmed training contracts for three of its paralegals in Leeds and Doncaster, supporting their progression to qualified solicitors through its Qualifying Solicitors Programme (QSP). Naila Arif, Harriet Findlay and Ellie Thompson bring the total number of people on the programme to 32 across the firm’s 12 UK offices.
Arif, based in Doncaster, has experience in child abuse compensation and property development, while Findlay, in Leeds, has worked in property law and new build conveyancing. Thompson, also Leeds-based, has spent nearly two years in the court of protection team.
Amy Clowrey, director and training principal, said: ‘It’s a privilege to support Naila, Harriet and Ellie and provide a springboard to take them further in their careers’, adding that awarding the contracts ‘recognises the dedication, care and passion they each bring to our firm’.
She added: ‘We’re an agile firm and are constantly reviewing training options to be as inclusive as possible’, noting that ‘our people set our firm apart’ as the firm continues to invest in developing future talent.
