The Ministry of Defence is considering a raft of measures to boost employment protections for Territorial Army soldiers
New laws are likely to be outlined this week to ban employers from discriminating against TA soldiers, while soldiers employed in the public sector could be given two weeks paid leave, and private-sector businesses compensated when employees are on operations. Other proposals to incentivise employers include a kite mark and invitations to special events hosted by senior politicians and members of the Royal Family.
