Litigation expert boosts firm's Russia and CIS strengths
Withers has hired commercial litigation and arbitration expert Tatiana Menshenina as a partner in its London office. Tatiana joins the firm from Simmons & Simmons, where she headed the CIS Practice, and previously worked as a partner at a Russian law firm.
Tatiana is qualified to practise in both England and Wales and Russia and has advised both corporate clients and high net worth individuals on complex multi-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration cases.
Peter Wood, Withers' global head of litigation, comments: "We are delighted to be joined by Tatiana, who is a perfect fit for our litigation and arbitration practice, and the wider firm. We have a number of Russian-speakers in our litigation team, and the CIS region has long been an important focus for us. Of course, Tatiana's hire also provides a valuable addition to our broader CIS practice, which provides a full range of legal advice from lawyers with deep experience of working in the region."
Tatiana adds: "I am very excited to become a part of Withers' litigation and CIS teams. The firm has an excellent track record in high profile disputes involving individuals and businesses in the region, and its reputation as the go-to law firm for successful individuals and business leaders will be a great asset to my practice."
