Twenty Essex is pleased to welcome Thomas Hibbs, Jack Hollingworth and Sam Pearce, who have joined chambers upon successful completion of their pupillage.
Thomas Hibbs joins chambers following studies at Harvard Law School (LLM) and the University of Cambridge (BA in Law), where he received multiple academic prizes and scholarships. Previously, he worked as a judicial assistant for the now-Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales; taught law at Birkbeck, University of London; and acted as a research assistant for various academics across public and private law.
Jack Hollingworth read law at the University of Cambridge, where he obtained a double first-class undergraduate degree and a first-class LLM in commercial law. Prior to pupillage, Jack interned at the International Bar Association, where he worked on a range of international and comparative law matters, and worked as a research assistant for a commercial law professor at Cambridge.
Sam Pearce comes to chambers after reading law at the University of Cambridge, achieving first class results and various academic prizes in all years of study. He is a Lord Denning Scholar and BPP Advocate of the Year, and continues to publish articles and case comments in journals including the Law Quarterly Review.
