Wedlake Bell—six promotions

Wedlake Bell announces six partner promotions in 2023 round
City law firm Wedlake Bell has promoted six lawyers to its partnership in its latest promotion round. The promotions span the breath of its practices from commercial disputes to residential property to private client and will take effect on 1 April. This brings the firms partnership number up to 78, an increase of eight since this time last year.

This move continues a trend of growth for the City firm, which has steadily increased its presence in London since its merger with Moon Beaver in 2021.

The new partners are:

  • Parminder Sidhu (pictured)—Residential Property
  • Nick Mendoza—Private Client, Onshore
  • Liam Floodgate—Commercial Property
  • Kamalprit Lally—Corporate
  • Kate Johnson—Private Client, Offshore
  • Nick Saville—Commercial Disputes
Managing partner Martin Arnold said of the promotions: 'We are delighted to have this group joining the Wedlake Bell partnership in April. Each of thema group of three men and three womenhas demonstrated energy, enthusiasm and ambition in addition to a proven track record of supporting the firm's clients in a variety of complex needs.

'2022 was an exciting year for us and we are thrilled to have grown our partnership both organically and through some excellent strategic lateral hires. We believe that our new members will allow us to continue to offer our clients a full service and enable us to explore new areas of development.'
