He offers particular expertise in compulsory purchase and compensation issues.
Partner Lee Gordon, Weightmans’ head of planning and infrastructure, said: ‘Matthew is a great addition to our fast growing team and I’m really pleased he has decided to join Weightmans. His skillset is an excellent fit and he adds real depth to our team which is advising clients nationally on the promotion of numerous major infrastructure and strategic development projects. I’m sure clients will benefit from Matthew’s vast experience, strong track record and excellent reputation in compulsory purchase and planning.’
Matthew added: 'I am delighted to join Weightmans—I’ve been hugely impressed with the quality of projects the firm is advising on and the firm’s commitment to delivery of true commercial solutions greatly mirrors my own. I look forward to continuing the strong growth of both our national planning team and London real estate practice and strengthening relationships with clients to assist in their delivery programmes.’
