Young Woman of the Year

Just for Kids Law ambassador, Chrisann Jarrett, has won the “Women on the Move” Young Woman of the Year award for her “Let us learn” campaign. Jarrett, 20, resident in the UK since the age of eight, was offered a place at the LSE to study law but was told she would have to pay overseas fees of £16,000 per year without support from student finance. With the help of Just for Kids Law, she successfully lobbied the LSE who offered her a full scholarship. She continues to campaign for a change in the law to help other migrant children.
