Marie Davies, Toxicology Reporting Manager at AlphaBiolabs

A highly skilled forensic scientist with over 22 years’ experience, Marie joined AlphaBiolabs in 2022 as Toxicology Reporting Manager.

Marie’s day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining the highest quality reporting standards for drug and alcohol testing for the legal sector, the workplace sector, and members of the public.

Prior to joining the business, Marie spent over 10 years as a Reporting Officer at the Forensic Science Service (FSS), and 12 years as a Reporting Scientist in testing laboratories specialising in blood, hair, nail, and oral fluid testing.

Throughout her career, Marie has participated in various research and development projects, including co-authoring a paper assessing historical and recent alcohol use, and evaluating scientific findings that have been presented at the Society of Hair Testing (SoHT).

Marie holds a BSc with Honours in Genetics, a PGDip in Medical Toxicology, and a diploma in Trichology.
