Chambers welcomes new Registered European Lawyer

20 Essex Street has announced that Paolo Busco will be joining chambers as a Registered European Lawyer.

Paolo is qualified to practise in Italy, and is registered as a European lawyer with the Bar of England and Wales. His areas of specialisation are public international law and dispute resolution, particularly arbitration. His prior experience includes working as assistant legal counsel in the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague. He is also an external adviser to the Italian Ministry of Home Affairs on matters relating to international law, and a designated expert of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations, with careers highlights including advising the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on international fishery laws for the Saudi Vision 2030 programme.

Paolo is the second new arrival announced by 20 Essex Street so far this month, with commercial disputes barrister Andrew Dinsmore also having recently joined chambers
