North-west firm sells its practice to a number of buyers
North-west conveyancing specialists Barnetts Solicitors has appointed administrators and sold its practice to a number of buyers, preserving all 130 jobs and more than 3,000 clients. The Southport firm sold its conveyance business to DC Law, its personal injury and litigation section to SGI Law, its care home division to Simpson Millar and its interest rate swap section to Seneca Banking Consultants. Senior partner Richard Barnett said: “The structure of the business had disparate parts, and it was therefore unlikely that we could ever have achieved one buyer for the whole.” Leonard Curtis Business Solutions Group was appointed administrator.
