Finance partner joins firm in the Netherlands

International law firm Bird & Bird has appointed Floor van Heijst as a partner in its finance and financial regulation practice in Amsterdam.

Floor has over 13 years’ experience advising clients on leveraged and acquisition finance matters, specialising in investment grade facilities, fund finance, and asset-based financings. She previously worked at Freshfields and NautaDutilh.

Evelyn Tjon-En-Fa and Marc van Wijngaarden, co-heads of Bird & Bird in the Netherlands, said: ‘Floor’s arrival is a key part of our strategic ambitions to expand our finance and financial regulation offering in the Netherlands.
