Corporate, commercial & employment expert joins Chelmsford office

Birkett Long has bolstered its commercial and corporate finance team with new hire Alan Massenhove.

Alan joins the Chelmsford office with 23 years of legal experience behind him. Prior to qualifying in 1994, he spent seven years working as an Essex Police Constable before pursuing a career in law. He was also previously the head of the corporate and commercial department and the employment team in a City of London firm for almost ten years.

Commenting on his new move, Alan said: ‘What appealed to me about Birkett Long was the size and quality of its Commercial & Corporate Finance Team and the calibre of the solicitors working there. It is an absolute pleasure working as part of a team alongside likeminded and highly capable colleagues.

'I am by nature a perfectionist, and I pride myself on high quality legal work, combined with developing and maintaining long term working relationships with clients. I aim to help the Commercial & Corporate Finance Team attract London-based clients and work.’
