Firm welcomes new cohort of 29 trainee solicitors for 2025

Birketts has welcomed 29 trainee solicitors to its offices this September, marking the start of their legal careers across Bristol, Cambridge, Chelmsford, Ipswich, London, Norwich and Sevenoaks. The 2025 intake includes 26 new recruits and three internal candidates continuing their journey with the firm.

The trainees will gain hands-on experience across Birketts’ award-winning sectors and services, supported by its multi-disciplinary approach and strong focus on professional development. Sonya O’Reilly, partner and training principal, said the firm is ‘thrilled to welcome such a talented and diverse group of trainees’.

She added: ‘Birketts remains fully committed to nurturing future legal talent through our comprehensive training programme… we look forward to supporting them over the next two years.’ The new cohort joins a firm that continues to expand its national footprint and reputation for excellence in legal services.
