Blake Morgan—30 promotions

23 lawyers and seven support staff receive summer promotions

Blake Morgan has announced a wave of summer promotions, recognising the talent and dedication of 23 lawyers and seven business support professionals. The promotions span a broad spectrum of departments including property services, private client, commercial litigation, regulatory, construction, banking and finance, and employment. Five individuals have been appointed as legal directors: Tanya Barrett, Rob Jefferies, Kirsteen Mace, Rachel Sales and Lucy Mosley.

The property services team led the charge with six promotions. Legal directors Sales and Barrett are joined by Susan Bartlett, now senior associate, and new associates Katie Edwards, Elin Meredith and Matthew Ivey. The regulatory team also marked a strong year with Mosley’s promotion alongside Stephen Parish and Gem Casey becoming senior associates and Lily Keeping advancing to associate.

Private client progressions saw Rachel Giles promoted to senior associate, while Emily Havard and Annabel Winsor joined as associates. Beth Burton has stepped up to senior paralegal. Commercial litigation welcomed two new senior associates—Elin Walker and Vikki Sidaway—and associate Amy Taylor-Morris. The construction team saw legal director Kirsteen Mace and associate Rebecca Munday rise, while the commercial and charities team promoted Jefferies and Emma Shakeshaft.

Chair Helen Bunker applauded the firm’s talent: ‘This is an opportunity to recognise the range of expertise and achievement of our colleagues across the UK.’ She added, ‘Blake Morgan is a place where we nurture and reward talent,’ thanking staff for their ‘exceptional contribution and commitment’ in making it a successful year. Several business support promotions also reflect the firm’s continued investment in infrastructure and client delivery.
