Regulatory and insolvency expertise strengthened with double partner hire

Blake Morgan has strengthened its offering with the appointment of two new partners, Imran Aslam and John Lucarotti, enhancing the firm’s capabilities in both insolvency and restructuring, and professional regulation. The hires reflect the firm’s continued investment in key practice areas across its offices.

John Lucarotti (pictured, left) joins the regulatory team from the Nursing and Midwifery Council, where he led policy development for over a decade and played a key role in the Government’s reforms to healthcare regulation. ‘I’m excited to join a team with such a strong reputation in regulatory law,’ said Lucarotti, who also brings experience as a deputy district judge and legal adviser to the General Pharmaceutical Council.

Imran Aslam (right) arrives with over 15 years of experience in domestic and international restructurings, having advised clients across sectors including real estate, oil and gas, and financial services. ‘Blake Morgan’s insolvency team has a strong reputation, and I’m looking forward to contributing to its continued success,’ he said.

Chair Helen Bunker welcomed the appointments, noting: ‘John’s impressive experience in regulatory reform will provide additional depth to our advice, while Imran will be a strong addition to our well-recognised insolvency team in London.’
