Blake Morgan—Sara Hanrahan

Firm welcomes back property services partner

Blake Morgan has appointed Sara Hanrahan as a partner in its property services team in London.

With over 20 years’ experience in the sector, Sara is making her return to Blake Morgan, having previously worked for the firm until 2020. Since joining as partner in 2012, she rose to become head of planning, playing a significant role in growing the capability and reputation of the team. Her return will see her once again play an important role in the planning team.

Sara will be rejoining Blake Morgan from Lewis Silkin, where she provided bespoke planning solutions for key developers, housing associations and local authorities, as well as advising high net worth individuals on a range of private planning matters.

She is a specialist in urban development projects and has worked on a number of major schemes across the UK, including the £6 billion regeneration of Swansea City, and the 40-acre site redevelopment in Lewisham known as New Bermondsey.

Outside her practice, she is also a member of the City of London Law Society’s Planning and Environmental Law Committee.

Phil Jardine, partner and head of property services at Blake Morgan, said: ‘With her long record of exemplary work in the planning sector, Sara’s return to the firm will bolster the team’s existing experience, building on the high-quality planning service our clients know us for.

‘We’re excited to be welcoming Sara back to the team, and to her continuing her exceptional work with the firm, while bringing in additional knowledge and expertise she has developed working across a wide range of more recent major schemes.’
