A medical reappointment
Kent firm Brachers has been reappointed to the clinical negligence defence panel of the Medical Defence Union (MDU), which helps and represents GPs, dentists and other health professionals in medical claims against them.
The firm has been on the MDU’s panel for almost 20 years.
Scott Alexander (pictured), head of Brachers Medical Defence team, said: ‘We are delighted to have retained our place on the MDU’s panel. We have a National Health Service to be proud of in the UK. GPs and others clinicians do a fantastic job, often with an ever-increasing case load in an aging population. We are proud to work with the MDU and to represent health professionals with claims against them, to ensure that all cases are fairly heard and that health professionals’ work is robustly defended wherever and whenever appropriate.’
