Bribery guide

CMS Cameron McKenna has launched a guide to bribery laws in the UK and overseas

Its “International Guide to Anti-Corruption Law” provides a summary and comparison of the main criminal and administrative corruption offences in 22 countries. Despite concerns over the perceived severity of the new UK Bribery Act, its contents were not “particularly novel or unique” when compared with other jurisdictions, according to the firm. Coverage of the NLJ roundtable discussion on the Bribery Act can be found here.
