Double boost for health and social care property team

Browne Jacobson has expanded its Manchester team by welcoming two new recruits, Ann Cojeen and Dominic Canning, to the office.

Ann has joined as an associate after having previously worked Pinsent Masons and Hempsons Solicitors. She specialises in commercial property work, offering over 17 years of experience handling matters including development, sales and purchases, and landlord and tenant issues. She also offers particular expertise in the health sector.

Dominic has joined Browne Jacobson as a solicitor after almost a year in Hill Dickinson’s Liverpool office. He qualified to practise in 2017, and provides experience in advising on health property matters.

Both Ann and Dominic will sit within the firm’s growing health and social care property team, which advises clients including NHS bodies, private hospitals, charities and developers on sales and purchases, development, and landlord and tenant matters.

Head of the team, partner Victoria Thourgood, stated: ‘Health and social care is a key focus of the firm and has been one of our fastest growing areas in recent years. We’ve seen this growth, across both the public and independent parts of the sector.

‘Ann and Dominic will be great additions to both our growing Manchester and national health and social care property team. Their expertise and skills will also complement our wider real estate practice and further enhance our offering to clients not just in the region but throughout the UK.’
