Chancellor Vos

Sir Geoffrey Vos has been approved as the Chancellor of the High Court with effect from 24 October. He replaces Sir Terence Etherton, who took over as Master of the Rolls on 3 October. Sir Geoffrey was called to the Bar in 1977 and took Silk in 1993. He was appointed to the Chancery Division in 2009, and as a Lord Justice of Appeal in 2013. He was Chairman of the Bar Council in 2007, and became President of the European Network of Councils for the Judiciary in 2015.
