Firm retains newly qualified solicitors across the business
Leeds firm Clarion has retained six newly qualified solicitors (pictured above) in teams across the business:
- Charlotte Hudson, commercial property;
- Emily Prince, property litigation;
- Jacob Crooke, contentious private client;
- Meg Gartland, corporate;
- Olivia Storey, banking; and
- Sam Atkinson, intellectual property.
Clarion’s trainee programme has a high level of retention. All trainees are given the opportunity to gain experience of the firm’s business development and self-development activities. Its training programme has been instrumental in helping many young people complete their training contracts and qualify.
Clarion also supports young people with a variety of other routes to entering the legal profession through an apprenticeship programme, paralegal development and via external and internal mentoring and coaching initiatives.
Helen Saunders, people director, said: ‘We’re excited to retain these six talented individuals as newly qualified solicitors within the business. This year’s cohort has shown enthusiasm, skill and entrepreneurship, all the key assets we look for in a Clarion team member.
‘Developing young talent is not only an integral part of our growth strategy, but testament to the abundance of great legal talent across the region. We are dedicated to helping these individuals develop their skills and realise their ambitions. I look forward to seeing them continue to thrive at Clarion.’
