Firm boosts corporate team in Southampton with two new hires

National law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has welcomed two new corporate lawyers to its Southampton office, significantly strengthening its regional offering. Marc Shevlin joins from Russell-Cooke and Dean Outten from Isadore Goldman, bringing complementary expertise to the growing team.

Marc is known for his commercially astute approach, shaped by experience advising SMEs, start-ups, and larger businesses on M&A, shareholder arrangements, and corporate governance. Dean adds further depth with his background in M&A, share capital work, and corporate advisory, and is also committed to mentoring junior lawyers.

Kelvin Balmont, head of the corporate team in Southampton (pictured), said: ‘We’re delighted that another two first-class corporate lawyers in the shape of Marc and Dean have decided to join our growing team.’ He added: ‘Our continued growth will help to attract new business and investment to the Solent, which is already one of the UK’s most dynamic regions.’

Clarke Willmott operates nationally with offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, London, Manchester, Southampton, and Taunton, and continues to invest in expanding its corporate capabilities across key regional hubs.
