Clarke Willmott—Matthew Roach

Partner joins commercial property team in Taunton office

Clarke Willmott has appointed Matthew Roach as a partner in its Taunton office, bolstering its commercial property team. Roach joins with more than 20 years’ experience in real estate law, further strengthening the firm’s regional offering.

He was previously director and head of residential development at Walker Solicitors and specialises in complex partnership transactions, land acquisitions and disposals, and development agreements. He regularly advises landowners and housing developers and is known for providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice.

Kirill Bingham, head of the Taunton office, said: ‘We are delighted to welcome Matthew to the firm,’ adding that ‘Matthew brings exceptional property expertise and a strong track record advising clients on complex transactions’.
