Re the RBS Rights Issue Litigation [2017] EWHC 1217 (Ch), [2017] All ER (D) 173 (May)

The Chancery Division ruled, on an application by the defendants in the Royal Bank of Scotland rights issue litigation, that Hunnewell BVI, a company which had been identified as having provided funds to assist the claimants in their claims, should provide security for the defendants’/applicants’ costs of £7.5m.
