Costs cap uplifts

The Intellectual Property Enterprise Court (IPEC) costs caps should increase, the Civil Procedure Rule Committee (CPRC) has recommended
The caps are currently £50,000 for liability claims and £25,000 for claims relating to quantum (subject to exceptions for unreasonable behaviour). The CPRC, at its June meeting, recommended increasing the caps to £60,000 and £30,000, respectively, according to recently released minutes of the meeting.
